The JSA Team

JSA consultants are Sales and Marketing professionals, with fast track career backgrounds and national level management experience in their disciplines. All are tertiary qualified, usually at postgraduate level.

John Sergeant

John Sergeant

From a post MBA background in European automotive marketing, John moved to Australia with a major UK marketing consultancy to lead its Australasian practice.
He founded JSA and specialises in Sales Effectiveness Consulting and learning design/ consulting.

John says: “My fascination is in harnessing the creativity and talents that exist, often untapped, in every organisation. And now, we’re about to see the emergence of Generation Y managers – baby boomers with attitude. Can’t wait.”

Simon Dethridge

Simon Dethridge

Simon joined JSA in 1996 after a series of national sales and marketing management roles, whilst still in his 20’s.
He is acknowledged as one of the finest trainers in the Australasian and Asian regions – a master of “learning by doing.”

Simon says: “I get particularly excited about personal growth in our clients and the development milestones of a project. The most rewarding part of our work is the active role we play in helping individuals and organisations achieve high performance. And the most common feedback we receive is “You really know our business and you made the journey so much fun!”

Jason Wenn

Jason Wenn

Not your traditional lawyer, Jason has a diverse sales career, culminating in national sales management roles. Jason specialises in consultative selling, new business development and sales systems/processes.

Jason says: “It’s never just training. It’s never just a new system. Real power in your sales team comes when they know they have the strategies, skills, tools and confidence to win customers and outplay the competition.”

Janet Maitland

A former JSA client, Janet has enjoyed success in National Sales and Marketing, and General Management roles working in some of Australia’s largest global consumer durables companies, both in Australia and overseas.

Janet says: “Most businesses invest significant amounts in marketing spend and analysing it’s effectiveness , yet your sales team is the one resource that is consistent and has the greatest ability to influence the point of purchase. Charles Migel

Charles Migel

After a global career in TV production/ editing and training, Charles acts as the technical driver of JSA’s ever expanding blended learning solutions, and as our webmaster.

Charles says: "It's all about helping people to learn faster, with more choices. Our clients love our blended learning solutions."

Diana Holwerda

Diana Holwerda

Based in Sydney, Diana has spent the last four year’s as the chairman’s P.A., managing the creation of new training programs and liaising with our global clients.

Diana says: "Long term clients mean long term friends. It's great to see people getting ahead in their careers with our help."

Siobhan Scorgie

Siobhan acts as client services manager for the Melbourne team, handling the organisation and production for multiple client training workshops, every week.
